Air Jordan 4
The Nike Air Jordan IV had the word "Flight" embroidered on the tongue, and that's just what the shoe delivered.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan IV was introduced in 1989 and was the first Air Jordan shoe to be marketed globally. The Air Jordan IV cushioned sole and stylish design helped make the shoe an international bestseller. The Air Jordan IV was the first in the Jordan line to feature molded mesh.
The AJ IV allows you to lace your IV's in 18 different patterns. This classic feature also inspired the Air Jordan Spiz'ike.
Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan IV during game 5 of the 1989 NBA playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers, in which Jordan famously made "The Shot" over Craig Ehlo.
